Phyllis Morrison was born in the big city of Atlanta, Georgia, and grew up in the teeny, tiny deeply southern yet coastal city of Midway, Georgia–just a few miles south of Savannah, Georgia. It was there that she discovered the divinely delicious delicacies of reading, crab legs, chocolate cake and sweet tea.
Phyllis’s faith and her family are most important to her. She is a mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, friend, and elementary school educator. If she isn’t spending time with her family and friends (usually cooking for them), you can most certainly find her singing and preparing music for the music ministry at her church. I Talk to God is Phyllis’s first children’s book.
